Positions are computed from JPL ephemerides through swisseph — accurate to arc-seconds for any date and any location on Earth. House systems include Placidus, Whole Sign, Koch, Equal, Regiomontanus and Porphyry. Time-zones resolved automatically from the birth city.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need exact birth time?
For full accuracy of houses and Ascendant, yes. Without time you can still compute Sun/Moon/planets in signs and major aspects (no houses, no Asc/MC). The form has a "time unknown" toggle that produces a best-effort solar chart.
Which house system should I use?
Default is Placidus — the most widely used in modern Western astrology. Whole Sign is preferred for Hellenistic and traditional work. Koch, Equal, Regiomontanus and Porphyry are also available. Switch from the form, the chart recomputes instantly.
Is my birth data stored?
Only if you save the chart while logged in. Anonymous calculations leave no trace on our servers — the chart is computed in-process and discarded. Logged-in saves go to your private Supabase row, which only you can read or delete.
Can I share a chart without sharing my login?
Yes. Every chart has a permalink encoding the birth data in URL parameters. Send it like any link — the recipient sees the full reading without an account.
