Is this synastry?
Compatibility is the lite version: element/modality balance + four personal planets + 8-10 key aspects. Synastry (separate tool) gives the full grid — every cross-aspect between every planet of both charts.
Do I need exact birth times for both?
Helpful but not required for the lite reading. Without time, Moon position is approximate (the Moon moves 12-15° per day) and house contacts are unavailable. Personal-planet aspects still work.
Can compatibility predict whether a relationship will last?
No. Astrology describes the energetic structure of a connection — what it tends to feel like, where the natural ease and friction are. Whether it lasts depends on what both of you decide to do with that structure.
